Arctic Cat has announced that they will be introducing and running a Stadium Side-by-Side series in the Stadium Super Trucks (SST) series later this month at the Sand Sports Super Show. The new series will be call the Arctic Cat Racing Series.

No photos have been released of what the vehicles will look like, so we are on the edge of our seats waiting and speculating.

The UTV racing class will be the lead in to the main event of the Stadium Super Trucks event being held September 18th to 20th in Costa Mesa, California. The series will also race at this year’s Las Vegas SST event, which is held in conjunction with the SEMA automotive specialty products convention, in early November.

Arctic Cat will be the proud sponsor of the Team Wildcat Racing SST Truck for the remainder of this race season, as well as next year’s season. This sponsorship will put an exciting black and green Arctic Cat truck on the track to compete for the SST Series Championship.

Want a chance to drive in the Arctic Cat Racing Series? Starting in the spring of 2016, fans will be able to register at Arctic Cat dealers to win a chance to drive a Wildcat in the undercard series at an SST race.

The news is no surprise to us and really only makes sense. We heard at Temecula Off Road Nights that Gordon was teaming up with Arctic Cat to produce a UTV to take down polaris in 2017, so this only made sense.

Either way this is a great addition to the series and for fans a like, with no better place to kick it off than at the Sand Sports Super Show later this month!
