The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) is coming back to Southern California for the second time this year already, from May 30th to the 31st, for some day racing. The last two locations have held night races; this time you can come check out these 700+ horsepower machines under the bright Lake Elsinore sun.
Coming off wins in rounds 3 and 4 from last month’s races at Wild Horse Pass in Arizona, Kyle Leduc looks to continue his winning streak and continue on the road to another Pro 4 championship. Bryce Menzies and racing veteran Rob MacCachren come ready to battle again, each looking for their first win in Pro 4 this year.
The competition will be as tough as ever in Pro 2 with drivers like Brian Deegan and Jeremy McGrath still looking to get on top of the podium. Rob MacCachren, atop the points, will have plenty of drivers on his tail trying to catch up, since the top 5 drivers are separated by only 22 points.
The battle in Pro Lites looks to be just as good as the Pro 2s and Pro 4s, with Brad Deberti looking to bounce back after winning the last two rounds in Lake Elsinore (but not placing in Arizona last month). Sheldon Creed looks to get back on top of the points standings later this month, too. Ryan Beat and Jerett Brooks, both coming off wins in Arizona, will look to get back on the podium and stay in the hunt for the championship.
Come and check out the day racing action at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park later this month, May 30-31. Tickets can be purchased online with Lucas Oil Off Road or at the event, with gates opening both days at 11:00 am PST. A full weekend schedule can also be found at Lucas Oil Off Road. Come out with the family, walk the pits, see these trucks up close and personal and enjoy a day of watching some of the top short-course drivers battling to come across the finish line first!
