The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) is heading to Las Vegas, Nevada for Rounds 15 and 16, September 18th and 19th. The season is coming down to the wire and there are plenty of points left up for grabs.
With Lucas Oil corporate announcing that they will be canceling Round 10, and not making it up this year, drivers will need to battle even harder to make up any points they can. Lucas Oil does not want to add another event at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park since additional rounds were already added to the venue this season.
Todd LeDuc looks to solidify his Pro 4 championship after extending his winning streak to 12 rounds in a row. Bryce Menzies, Rob MacCachren and the rest of the Pro 4 field will look to do what they can to knock off last years champion.
In Pro 2 Rob MacCachren looks to hold off Bryce Menzies, who is coming of wins in both Rounds 13 and 14, and stay atop the points leaderboard. Jeremy McGrath looks to complete is stelar season and continue his climb to the top. With the top three drivers all within 100 points it is still anyones game.
The closet battle is in the Pro Lite class with the top five drivers all within 100 points, and the top three drivers within 37 points. RJ Anderson has a bullseye on his back sitting atop the points lead with Jerett Brooks and Brad Deberti beating on the door right behind him.
Racing will be taking place September 18th and 19th at Las Vegas Motor Speedway under the lights. Tickets and more information can be found on the LOORRS website.
