What do we know about the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series? We know that once the racers come out, all bets are off, and it’s time to see some sweet hucking action. The forthcoming race at Glen Helen Raceway isn’t the first LOORRS event of the year (that was in Chandler, Arizona on March 3 for a Test N Tune), but it will be the first race of 2018. It’s dropping in on March 17.
Glen Helen Raceway is playing host to Round 1 of the 2018 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. For one day only, we’ll be able to see guys like Rob MacCachren, Brian Deegan, Jeremy McGrath, and more duke it out at the muddy, twisty course near San Bernardino, California.
The schedule for the day starts at 1pm when the gates open to the public. From there, it will be practice time for each of the classes – Junior 2, Junior 1, Mod Kart, Turbo UTV, Pro 2, UTV, Pro Buggy, Pro Lite, and Pro 4 – until 4pm, when drivers will come out to do autographs. The “kid” races will start at 4:30, and there will be downtime until 7pm when the opening ceremonies commence and the real races begin.
