To live life to the fullest, many believe you must live on the edge. Of course, when it comes to Rock Bouncing, this is certainly the case. Jordan Tanner is no stranger to this concept and takes on all of his Rock Bouncing competitions with all he’s got. Unfortunately, sometimes things go wrong and they result in consequences you may not have foreseen. Check out the Busted Knuckle video above to see what we mean.

What’s being dubbed one of the worst Rock Bouncer crashes in history happened at Rush Off-Road Park in Rush, Kentucky, during the Rush Off Road Anniversary Bash on May 10th, 2014. Behind the wheel of his rig, Jordan Tanner attempted to make it to the top of a super steep hill obstacle called UnderRated Hill when he bounced off the top edge of the hill, causing his rig to careen back down the hill before rolling end over end and crashing backwards into a tree.

While the crash looks incredibly frightening and you can hear people in the crowd screaming as Tanner’s rig bounces down the side of the hill, Tanner was able to escape with minor injuries considering; just a broken collar bone and concussion. Unfortunately, Tanner’s rig didn’t fair quite as well, acquiring serious damages during the crash.

Though Tanner may be out of the Rock Bouncing season for a little while, especially with the condition of his rig, he posted on his Facebook account on May 11, stating that he was doing fine. He also thanked everyone for all their help at the event loading up his rig and for all the well-wishes that have come in since the incident.

We’re certainly glad that Tanner is doing alright after this violet crash, but chances are he’ll be out running the rocks again as soon as he and his rig are ready to roll.

After all, what’s living on the edge about if you can’t experience it over and over again?
