Who would want to take a brand new top-of-the-line Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon and totally transform it into a fully built trail rig? Well, we are raising our hand at Off Road Xtreme and have gotten the exciting opportunity to do just that with our latest vehicle build; Project ORXtreme JL. 

Sometime back in 2021, the Jeep arrived at the Power Automedia office and we formed a plan to build out the Wrangler JL with a couple of goals in mind. Obviously, we wanted to trick it out to the max, increasing the off-road performance capabilities. But the only restraining requirement was that it had to retain its streetable daily driver attitude. 

We got to work outlining a build list and spent the next 4 months acquiring parts that would totally transform this awesome Jeep Wrangler into a clean and tastefully capable off-road trail rig as part of the Project ORXtreme JL build series.

Here is how the Project ORXtreme JL build overview schedule breaks down:

First Phase – Lift & Suspension Upgrades

Second Phase – Body Armor, Skid Plates, Bumper Upgrades

Third Phase – Motor Mods / Performance Upgrades

Fourth Phase – Overland, Storage, Organization, & Camping Upgrades

Fifth Phase – Gears / Housing / Steering / Upgrades

Sixth Phase – Control & Command + Lighting Upgrades

For now, we leave you with a bone stock 2021 Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon to feast your eyes on. We will leave it to your imagination as to what you think the final completed build will look like.
