This week while browsing through the Insurance Auto Auctions website, we stumbled across a 2006 Nissan Titan that looking like it just came back from war, more beat up than it probably wanted to be. During the rollover, it caused plenty of damage that not many vehicles would make it out of. If this Titan was climbing the trails to the top of the Norn Mountains, it would definitely have been a long tumble down the side.
The hood, driver and passenger side all have substantial damage. The truck looks to have rolled so much that it makes it appear that the truck has shifted completely off the frame. The passenger side of the bed is now almost half way over the rear tire.
Scratches and dents are visible from all over the body. Surprisingly, the only part you may be able to salvage is the tailgate and the driver’s side running board. The passenger side one does not look to be anywhere, not even in the bed with all the other spare parts collected.
The pickup does have some nice wheels and BFGoodrich All Terrain tires, but they could not help avoid its last drive. With the truck having 144,116 miles0 on the clock, it surely served its purpose to the former owner.
The interior of the half-ton is covered with broken glass and dirt from being spun over, but still appears to be in relatively good condition compared to the exterior. The 5.6-liter V8 engine does not start, so the damage may be even more severe than it appears. The key was able to stay with the vehicle, however, so it does look like it does have a mechanical issue.
Clean interior considering what the outside looks like!
This Titan may not see another day on the road, but it might be a viable donor part truck for some of the parts that are left in good condition. The extensive damage done to this truck during the rollover make this one seem like it has seen its last day out on the trail.
