We all remember wishing we could do what Blake Wilkey did with his highly modified VW bug in the San Diego streets in Urban Assult. Blake is back and tearing up the Las Vegas Streets in Urban Assault 2 dropping March 8th during the Mint 400 festivities.
“We filmed Urban Assault about three weeks ago,” Blake said. “This was something we had planned for and had made several trips out to Vegas to scout locations. We met with the Downtown Project, who owns a lot of the land where we wanted to do the video, to get their blessing and the green light.”

Blake Wilkey and his modified VW bug took on the streets around Fremont and Downtown Las Vegas. We have to wait until March 8th to see the show!
With the help of HP Tuners, Gladiator Tires, Method Race Wheels, King Shocks, Flowmaster, and KC HiLites the video came to be. This time around the proper permits were pulled and everything was done according to the law. The team had the help of the city and Downtown Project to make sure that the video was set up for success.
“The features and what we did in this video are very innovative,” Blake continued. “There are plenty of street obstacles that we as off-roader see every day. Whether it is stuff to crawl up or banked turns, everything is done very organically. Some of the same style from the first video will be seen in the new one.”
With Vegas being the city it is, we can only imagine what Blake will do in the video. We are sure that it will be a hit. Stay tuned for the launch of the video and we bring you our reactions to the latest addition. What do you think the bug will do down Freemont? Tell us in the comments below!
