Toyota has trotted out some new features for the 2025 Tundra pickup truck. One is the TRD Rally Package, which uses Toyota’s Baja racing heritage as the basis for its design. Here’s a look at what the 2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Rally Package includes and some of the 2025 Tundra’s other new features.
2025 Toyota Tundra TRD Rally Package
The TRD Rally Package, available only on the SR5 model, combines a unique look with off-road-capable equipment. The look is based around the iconic color scheme of red, orange, and yellow. This trio of colors is found on exterior decals that reside on the front grille, front doors, tailgate, and wheel center caps. It’s not an in-your-face look that covers vast amounts of the truck’s exterior real estate, but rather a subtle statement. If you know, you know.
Naturally, Toyota engineers infused the TRD Rally Package with the off-road chops to back up its Baja racing inspiration. Thus, the truck has 18-inch-diameter TRD off-road wheels, all-terrain tires, Bilstein monotube shocks, and skidplates. Additionally, the TRD Rally Package includes an electronically controlled locking rear differential that operates in 4-Lo. Furthermore, Toyota’s Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control. Inside, the trio of color accents reside on the SoftTex-trimmed seats and dashboard.
The TRD Rally package also includes the TRD exhaust, red TRD engine start button, TRD shift knob, and TRD steering wheel. Furthermore, there’s mud guards, aluminum sport pedals, and eight-way power-adjustable heated front seats with power lumbar. Finally, dual zone automatic climate control.
The TRD Rally Package is available in four colors: Ice Cap, Magnetic Gray, Midnight Black Metallic, and Celestial Silver.
More New 2025 Tundra Features
Another new feature on the 2025 Toyota Tundra is the available multifunction massaging front seats. They have integrated massage functions that offer options for both upper and lower body massage with various intensity levels. The settings are controlled via the 14-inch multimedia touchscreen. Additionally, the seats are leather trimmed and feature 10-way power adjustment. The massaging seats are available in the 1794, Platinum, and Capstone grades, and can be used whether the vehicle is in motion or parked.
Other notable new features on the 2025 Tundra is an available power tailgate with knee lift assist and a new Tow Tech Package that includes an antenna and Wi-Fi trailer camera. Also, there’s a new TRD Pro-specific color called Mudbath.
Tundra Grades And Powertrains
The 2025 Toyota Tundra is available in SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, TRD Pro, and Capstone grades. Power comes from either a twin-turbo V6 that makes 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque or a hybrid twin-turbo V6 that’s good for 437 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque. No matter your engine selection, the transmission will be a 10-speed electronically-controlled unit.
The Tundra is assembled exclusively in San Antonio at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas.
