Edge EZ Tuner Adds 110 HP To The 2025+ Ram Cummins (Including Power Wagon!)

The 2025 Ram Heavy Duty brought some significant changes to the 6.7-liter Cummins diesel, and naturally, the aftermarket wasn’t going to leave it alone for long.

Edge Products has released its new EZ Tuner for 2025-and-newer Ram trucks equipped with the 6.7-liter Cummins. On paper, the headline numbers immediately grab attention: up to 110 additional horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Perhaps more interesting, however, is how Edge is going about getting there.

Rather than requiring a conventional ECU flash, the EZ Tuner is an inline module that installs in less than 10 minutes and doesn’t permanently alter the factory ECU.

110 Horsepower Is Nothing To Ignore

Modern heavy-duty diesel pickups aren’t exactly hurting for power, which makes the claimed output of the EZ Tuner all the more interesting. Edge says the module can add as much as 110 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

While horsepower makes for the better headline, an additional 280 lb-ft is arguably the number that matters most. That’s the sort of increase a driver should notice when accelerating with a trailer, climbing a grade, merging onto the highway, or simply rolling hard into the throttle with an empty truck.

Five Levels Instead Of One Setting

One of the more useful features of the EZ Tuner is that the additional performance isn’t limited to a single fixed setting. The module provides five selectable power levels, and smartphone integration allows those settings to be changed on the fly.

A Ram Cummins might spend Monday through Friday commuting nearly empty, tow a fifth-wheel on Saturday, and spend Sunday hauling supplies. There’s little reason each of those situations needs the same throttle response or additional power. Being able to dial the module up or down gives flexibility to match the setting to what the truck is actually doing.

“The new EZ Tuner gives 2025+ Ram Cummins owners an incredibly simple way to unlock the performance potential of their trucks,” said Zach Hill, Business Unit Leader, Edge Products. “It’s a true plug-and-play solution that delivers noticeable power gains while maintaining the flexibility to return the vehicle to stock whenever needed. The addition of smartphone app integration gives drivers even more control by allowing them to adjust performance on the fly to match the way they use their truck.”

No Flash Required

Where the EZ Tuner really separates itself from a traditional tuner is in how it interacts with the truck.

The module doesn’t permanently alter the factory ECM, and Edge says it leaves no footprint. It can be removed and the truck returned to its stock configuration without permanent modification.

Diesel tuning has become considerably more complicated as factory engine-management systems have grown more sophisticated. For some, extensive calibration changes are part of the fun. For others—particularly someone staring at a nearly new Ram Heavy Duty—the idea of gaining power without permanently rewriting the factory computer has obvious appeal.

The Towing Question

Any time someone talks about adding 280 lb-ft to a heavy-duty diesel, towing is going to enter the conversation.

Edge specifically points to towing performance as one of the benefits of the EZ Tuner, along with improved acceleration, throttle response, and general drivability. More available torque can make a loaded truck feel considerably less strained, particularly when accelerating or climbing grades.

That doesn’t mean additional engine output changes the truck’s actual tow rating, payload capacity, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, or any other manufacturer-established weight limit. Those ratings remain what Ram says they are. What additional power can change is how confidently the truck moves the weight it’s already rated to handle.

An Interesting First Step For The Newest Cummins

Perhaps the biggest appeal of the EZ Tuner is that it doesn’t ask the owner to commit very much.

Installation is quick. There are five adjustable settings. Changes can be made through a smartphone. The module can be removed. And the claimed maximum improvement—110 horsepower and 280 lb-ft—is large enough that this isn’t simply a throttle-response gadget masquerading as a performance upgrade.

The Edge Products EZ Tuner for the 2025+ Ram 6.7-liter Cummins is sold under part number 30205 and comes with an MSRP of $539.95
