Here at Off Road Xtreme we have plenty of things brewing and one of those things that will be hitting the shop soon are Edge Products Evolution CTS 2 programmer for the Ford F-150 Raptor and Superchips Flashpaq programmer for the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado.

We will be installing Edge Products’ Evolution CTS 2 in a Ford Raptor, to see how much power we can squeeze out of its 6.2-liter motor.
These programmers will be getting installed in our shop and put to the test both on and off the road. The Evolution CTS 2 programer is an in-cabin monitor and programmer, that with the addition of EAS (Expandable Accessory System) allows you to control your accessories through the touch-screen monitor.
We will be installing the EAS system with our tuner to control LED lights on the Raptor with the high resolution touch screen display. One cool feature of the EAS system is the ability to go in an name what the switch is for. A light bar, compressor, or other accessory name can be programmed via the desktop software to display on the screen, so it is clear on what is being turned on and off.
Edge Products' EAS system will allow us to control LED lights installed on the Raptor through the programmers home screen.
The Evolution CTS 2 programmer allows tuning to be done for better fuel economy, towing power, or performance power. The programmer also allows you to change the display look and feel. Edge has given users the option of a retro, digital, and needles screen.
Superchips Flashpaq tuner will be installed on our 2015 Chevy Silverado. This truck will be used to tow our sister site’s Factory Five Racing Cobra to the SEMA show. With the Flashpaq programmer we will be able adjust for towing over the four hour drive to Las Vegas, Nevada.
We will be able to get firsthand real world data on the tuner. We will be able to report back on how the truck does on the journey to Vegas. Towing performance is not the only advantage of this programmer.
The Silverado will be receiving a new lift, wheels, and tires. With the addition of larger wheels and tires the factory tune and speedometer will be off. With the Flashpaq we will be able to correct the speedometer and adjust for the larger tire size. The programmer can adjust for 26-inch to 38-inch tires.
Superchips Flashpaq programmer will be put to the test on our Silverado as it tows a vehicle out to this year's SEMA Show.
The programmer also adjusts for axle gear ratios, shift points, shift firmness, speed limiter, rev limiter, and can even adjust the fan. The programmer allows for performance tests to see what your vehicle can really do.
Make sure to check back in with Off Road Xtreme as we get these products installed and tested. We will let everyone know the real world performance obtained from these programmers on the pavement or in the dirt.
