The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) is involved in every facet of the industry, including making charitable contributions to a number of organizations that help children in all walks of life, including those aiming to become involved in the industry as a career. Each year, to help support the SEMA Cares charities, SEMA partners with a number of different companies to build a vehicle to be raffled off. This last year, it was the 2013 Ford F-150 that hit the mark with WD-40 and Chip Foose playing major rolls in putting the truck together. But this isn’t the first time the two well-known names have partnered up for such a cause.

In 2012, Foose and WD-40 stepped up to help the SEMA Cares Foundation by contributing with a 2012 Ford Super Duty F-350 build. Since its debut at the 2012 SEMA Show, the truck has been on the road for special appearances, but its time is up.
According to SEMA, one lucky person could become the new owner of this specialty truck as it’s scheduled to be auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction next week. And you better believe that its as good as it was when it hit the show floor for the first time!
The 2012 Foose Ford Super Duty F-350 comes complete with custom Foose front and rear-wheel flares, a front chin spoiler, and side rockers. A custom paint job, special grey interior, and plenty of oomph compliments of a 6.7L diesel to get any job done, are just a few of the other perks of this incredible ride.
Contributors to this particular build include MagnaFlow, Pro Comp, Street Scene Equipment, LEER Accessories, Husky Liners, Bedslide, BASF Paint, Polk Audio, Audio Innovations, Katskin, and L&G Enterprises.
The Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction runs January 12 to 19. The SEMA Cares F-350 will be auctioned off at about 6p.m. on Wednesday January 15, with all proceeds from the sale going to three SEMA Cares charities- Childhelp, an organization that helps abused and neglected children, Victory Junction, a camp for special needs and chronically ill children, and the SEMA Cares Scholarship Program, helping students pay for school who are looking into automotive careers.
