Off-roaders always want more out of their vehicle. Bigger tires offer greater ground clearance, longer shocks offer better cycling, and more lights means more knowledge of one’s surroundings. But what about getting better articulation?
Energy Suspension is bringing its renowned bushing technology to Jeep Wrangler JLs in the latest ROCK-FLEX kit. Numerous bushings, nuts, bolts, and other components allow the average JL to go from stock to ready-to-rock.
One key feature of the kit is its ability to allow for greater articulation in a Wrangler. Energy claims it will increase the articulation by as much as 25 percent, allowing for greater flex while traversing obstacles and keeping tires in contact as drivers make their way through trails and rocks. This also means long-travel shocks can be installed to enhance the driving experience.

In addition to greater articulation, the ROCK-FLEX kit also raises the vehicle by 1.5-2 inches. This allows for up to 37-inch tires on Rubicon models, and up to 35-inch tires on Sahara and Sport models.
The biggest change, however, is Energy’s use of polyurethane. By changing out the OE rubber used throughout the Jeep, owners will gain the longevity and durability that comes from polyurethane. It resists corrosion and water damage much better than rubber, making it ideal for vehicles that see heavy off-road usage.
The ROCK-FLEX kit is now available and will make a big difference in your Jeep Wrangler JL. To find out more information, be sure to check out Energy Suspension’s website and Facebook page.
