Jeep Wranglers have it all – the power, the modifiability, and the capability to take on any trail with the right equipment. And having the right equipment makes all the difference when coming across tough obstacles. When it comes to exhaust, Diamond Eye Performance offers systems that meet these objectives, and then some.
We spoke with Diamond Eye’s Graphic Engineer, James Smith, to find out more about these systems and what they bring to the table. “Our American-made systems are all designed to be high-tuck, meaning they sit high inside the undercarriage and don’t affect departure angle,” he continued. “Plus, they change the sound profile quite a bit. You’ll definitely hear our exhaust when you’re getting out of a jam!”
Diamond Eye exhaust systems also come in either 409 stainless steel or aluminized finishes. “Both options serve a purpose,” Smith commented. “Many of our customers prefer stainless steel for its ability to withstand off-road abuse. On the other hand, aluminized is ideal for parts of the country that deal with snow and the chemicals or salt that come with that. It’s also priced slightly lower than stainless steel for customers with cost goals in mind.”
Whether stainless or aluminized, Diamond Eye takes great care during the manufacturing process to ensure the end product meets high standards. “What keeps them durable is that we mandrel-bend all of our tubing,” said Smith. “The form lasts forever.”
We’re interested in installing a Diamond Eye exhaust system on a Jeep Wrangler very soon and seeing the benefits firsthand. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out more about Diamond Eye systems on the official website and Facebook page.
