The overland craze is everywhere nowadays and it seems like everyone is getting into going outdoors. To be successful outdoors vehicles need to be outfitted properly and that is where Body Armor 4×4 comes in with the ability to outfit the 2016-2019 Toyota Tacoma.

Body Armor 4×4 has an overland rack (PN TC-6125) and overland mount (PN TC-6126) to make sure everything is secured for the adventure. The rack fits the five-foot, five-inch bed, and bolts on using the factory mounts while the overland mount allows for multiple configurations to attach everything needed for a great trip.

“The Body Armor 4×4 overland rack was specifically designed for the Tacoma Short bed application,” James Grossaint, Category Manager of Body Armor 4×4 explained. “We wanted a cab height rack allowing customers the option to use larger recreational items such as kayaks or paddleboards. Another cool feature is the removable crossbars allowing you full access to the bed for bicycles, motorcycles or any large items in the bed.”

The overland rack is rated for 650 pounds and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to install with power tools. The nice part about the optional accessory mounts is the ability to customize the rack to fit what is needed for the trip or a particular style.

“The accessory mount rails run along the side of the entire rack,” Grossaint continued. “Typically people will use three to four per side to allow a large variety of accessories. We offer additional accessory mounts separate for customers wanting to customize their rack. On our Tacoma, we have Maxtrax traction boards on the driver side and a Pro Eagle jack with a 2.5-gallon roto-pax can on the passenger side.”
