Event Alert: The 2014 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival

The Bantam Jeep Festival is the ultimate pilgrimage for many classic Jeep owners. Much like Buddhists traveling to the Bodhi tree, Jeep owners have a chance to bring their beloved off-road machines to the birthplace of Jeep; Butler, Pennsylvania. Poison Spyder Customs, one of the major sponsors of this years event, is an off-road and Jeep performance shop based in Riverside County, California. This year’s festival, described in the Poison Spyder Customs video above, will be held on Father’s Day weekend (June 13-15) and will celebrate the Heritage of Jeep from its humble military beginnings to the extraordinary off-road machines of today.

The festival will commence with the Jeep Invasion, when 1,000 or more Jeeps will roll into the town square and line the sides of the streets signaling the start of the show. All Jeeps are welcome to attend from the Bantam-era of WWII to customized Wranglers built for mud bogging to desert pre-runners.

A segment of the show will be dedicated the military Jeeps, as they are an important part of American history and our fight for freedom. This segment will include a replica WWII encampment and Jeep History Exhibit.

The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is more than a show, there will be plenty of activities to show off your Jeep’s performance. The handling and rock crawling characteristics of your Jeep will be tested on the obstacle course. For those who enjoy getting down and dirty, a mud pit will be set up. Attendees will have a chance to participate in a game which allows you to win prizes that can not be purchased anywhere else.

Over 100 Jeep-specific vendors will be part of the vendor show including Poison Spyder themselves. It will also bring a collection which includes Jeeps ranging from a Willys WWII specimen to Venom, its late-model Rubicon Wrangler, its pre-runner/rock crawler Crispy, and mud bogger Spidy JK.

It looks like the 2014 Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival is going to be a blast. If you’re a Jeep fan, you need to be there! Check out the Poison Spyder website and video below for more details.
