Do you ever stare off through the windshield wonder there has to be a different way to get somewhere? When the dirt on the side of the road looks more tempting than the pavement highway it is time to find an alternate route.

Bilstein is taking their booth vehicles on an adventure to unveil a new shock absorber series at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nevada before the doors open on the 2016 SEMA Show. They are building a vehicle not only for the show, but something that will test the product the whole way there. Starting at the company’s headquarters in Poway, California, the team will make the 400 plus mile trip which includes some of the roughest terrain found in the US. –Gravel, sand, rocks, jumps, washouts, and whoops.

“Bilstein is moving into the performance off-road aftermarket segment with our patented ZoneControl system,” Regis Finn said. “This vehicle specific bolt-on module combines remote reservoirs, anodized aluminum componentry, position sensitive features, exclusive fittings, adjustable bypass tubes, and more. All of these features are packaged in a kit that will elevate your driving experience, both on and off-road.”

With only the teaser pictures to get us going, we are hopeful that this will give off-road enthusiasts, even more, comfort. In addition to the new products on the vehicle, Bilstein has teamed up with Cascadia Vehicle Tents, CBI Off-Road, Custom Car Grills, Deaver Springs, Falken Tires, Injen Technology, Leitner Designs, Magellan GPS, Magnaflow, Mile Marker, Rigid Industries, RotopaX, Rugged Radios, SCS Wheels, SignArt, Slee Off-Road, sPod, and WeatherTech to outfit their vehicles.
