Alpha Motor Corporation has taken the wraps off its all-electric, four-door, five-passenger SUPERREX SUV. This is the latest addition to the Alpha lineup that includes the WOLF and WOLF+ pickup trucks, REX two-door SUV, and ORYX commercial light-duty truck. Alpha Motor Corporation says the SUPERREX features a robust dual motor all-wheel-drive system and an independent suspension designed to handle rugged environments. The SUV is powered by a lithium-ion battery pack, which contributes to an estimated range of 325 miles on a single charge. Acceleration, 0-60 mph, is said to be 5.8 seconds and its maximum towing capacity is 8,500 pounds. The vehicle’s features include a rapid charger and a battery cooler and heater. Additionally, the SUV’s construction uses high-strength steel and lightweight thermoplastics, which ensure both durability and optimal efficiency.
Seating For Five And 43.3 Cubic Feet Of Cargo Space
Inside, the four-door SUPERREX blends functionality with comfort. The vehicle offers a spacious interior with seating for five passengers. For added versatility, the rear seats are foldable and removable, providing extra cargo space. With the rear seats removed, there’s 43.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Additionally, the SUV includes a digital display for the driver, a wide format center display, and optional haptic controls. It also boasts ample storage, with compartments located under the hood and in the rear hatch. Finally, the SUPERREX interior offers premium seat and trim material, Bluetooth connectivity, and a premium sound system.
Larger Than A Wrangler Four-Door
According to Alpha, the SUPERREX is approximately 200 inches in length, 76 inches wide, and 71 inches tall. Consequently, it’s 10 inches longer, 2 inches wider, and 3 inches taller than Alpha’s two-door REX electric SUV. For further comparison, SUPERREX is approximately 11 inches longer, 2 inches wider, and 2.5 inches taller than a 2024 Jeep Wrangler four-door. SUPERREX was unveiled in “Whisper,” a satin blue exterior finish. The SUV will be available with 16- to 18-inch wheels, it’ll include LED signature headlights, and daytime running lights.
Built On Alpha’s Modular Vehicle Platform
SUPERREX uses the company’s Modular Vehicle Platform, which supports Alpha’s WOLF truck series. The company says the SUV is the direct result of consumer feedback and the flexibility of the Modular Vehicle Platform. This platform is a versatile architecture that accommodates various vehicle types through shared components and systems. Consequently, this platform allows the SUPERREX to integrate technology and performance features from the WOLF truck series. As a result, the company says it provides a strong and dependable foundation that significantly improves the vehicle’s all-terrain capabilities. Moreover, the platform’s flexibility enhances production efficiency, ensuring consistent quality and performance across different vehicle models.
