Major shows always give a great chance to talk with some of our favorite vendors. Off Road Expo in Pomona, California was no different. One of our favorite stops was the aFe Power booth. Here is a look at what both aFe and their partner brand Sway-A-Way have in the works for the end of the year.
aFe brought out a Jeep Gladiator for Off Road Expo this year as one of their display vehicles. Rocking a brand new quad-tip exhaust, aFe also mentioned the MACH Force-XP high tuck and rock basher systems were also available for the Gladiator platform.
aFe has gone all in on the new JT, redesigning their proven 3.6-liter, power-adding line to the new platform.
Continuing the JT offerings, mention was made of the Momentum intake system. I recently had the opportunity to field test a JL equipped with the full aFe power suite and know it will be a great addition to the newest Jeep in the family. Sway-A-Way is jumping into the JT offerings as well, with a full set of prototype coilovers on display at the booth. While these were still working through the final design details, you can expect the same great performance and benefits Sway-A-Way is known for in the final product when it’s released later this year.
More exciting news from Sway-A-Way was the addition of a set of external bypass coilovers for the latest Ram heavy-duty trucks. These act as a direct two-inch level kit and factory replacement in these trucks, so you can expect an easy install and great fit. While there is still some dialing in for the valving and ideal shaft length to go on these, you can look for a late-year release.
Sway-A-Way offered a sneak peak at two developmental systems currently in the final design stages. They're coming for the Jeep Gladiator and Ram HD trucks.
