SEMA 2013: SCT Plunges Into The Jeep Market With A JK Build

Many of us have, at one time or another, started a small project which quickly got out of control and turned into massive undertaking. Well, in preparing for this year’s SEMA Show, SCT had just that happen on their project. SCT went all out for the Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep markets. At just about the same time, the owner purchased a 2013 JK for his wife to use as a daily driver.

When diving head first into the build, they partnered with Rugged Ridge. A few days later, three pallets of product had been delivered to the shop and they were ready for installation. Everything from front bumpers, rock guards, doors, lights, hood, hood latches, fender flares, lift kit, center console all the way back to the rear bumper. This Jeep is fully outfitted with Rugged Ridge products front to rear.

Helping to give the JK the right stance, a set of American Force’s new Fallout FP8 wheels rapped in Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires were chosen. To add to the look, Status Automotive (who built the truck) decided to go with a custom wrap. Out back, the JK features a Monster Hook, which is quite the eye catcher as you walk by.

On the interior, a full overhaul was done thanks to the crew at Katzkin. Both front seats and the rear bench were all redone with premium leather and include custom stitching to match.

Some of the finishing touches like Oracle Halo headlights and a set Race Ramps made the truck an eye catcher at the show, proudly displayed in the SCT booth – and of course, is tuned with their all new Livewire TS Dodge line. Stay tuned for more!
