The Jeep Wrangler may be the most popular off-road vehicle to modify nowadays. There seems to be everything you can think of for it, but the folks at Rugged Ridge have come out with some new products to continue to outfit the JK.
“One of the new products out is our bolt-on direct fit body armor,” Ryan Jackson of Rugged Ridge explained. “We extended out the coverage of the fender to help with covering oversized tires. We also made a location for people that wanted to keep their trail rated badge.”
We stayed on the front of the Jeep when we found out about the adjustable track system for around the front windshield. “With normal light bars the wires are exposed and running down the side of the window,” Jackson said. “The track system has a channel that all the wiring goes and only comes out to where the light is.”
In addition, there are some light grills that are used to style up the exterior of the Jeep. All the products that are created are patented to help prevent and curb illegal reproduction. This has become a big problem that Rugged Ridge has been fighting. Not only is it bad for the industry, but it is also bad for the consumer who may expect something and not get it when the product arrives.
The JK wasn’t the only vehicle that got some love this year. The TJ received a heavy-duty spare tire holder. The model in the JK has been out, but was adapted to the TJ to increase the strength as owners up their tire size.
