Off-Road Ready Lift Kits From MaxTrac Suspension

MaxTrac Suspension made its mark in the off-road ready lift kit world with its Ram 1500 system that dramatically improved the truck’s suspension performance.

Off-road ready lift kits are often the first major changes made by truck and SUV enthusiasts, and there are plenty of options available. One of those suspension system manufacturers is MaxTrac Suspension. You could spend all day searching dozens of websites to find an off-road ready suspension system just right for your Chevy, GMC, Ford, Jeep, Nissan, or Toyota, and you would find MaxTrac Suspension covers them all.

One of the things you can appreciate about MaxTrac Suspension is that the company is  enthusiast-born and bred for creating aftermarket suspension systems. It makes a difference. If you’re part of the culture, you know what truck enthusiasts want most. Lots of options, high quality, and a good price are what everyone is looking for. MaxTrac Suspension manufactures a wide range of off-road ready lift kit options for 4×4 trucks and SUVs in a range of heights, including a robust catalog of 2WD suspension system upgrades.

MaxTrac Suspension kits, such as the 7-inch lift for the 2019-up Ram 1500 seen here, include all the components necessary to get the job done right.

MaxTrac Made Its Mark

MaxTrac Suspension got its start in the 2WD truck suspension system marketplace and is a leader in the category. Mike Sun, president of MaxTrac Suspension told us, “Our motto is ‘lift, level, or lower.’ We can be the truck enthusiast’s one-stop-shop. We offer four-wheel-drive suspension systems and have plenty of applications for popular 4×4 trucks and SUVs, but we are dominant in two-wheel-drive. That’s where we started, and that’s where we really shine. We made our name with a very popular two-wheel-drive Ram 1500 suspension system that delivers a remarkable improvement in truck’s suspension system performance.”

One of the things that set MaxTrac Suspension apart from the crowd is its different take on suspension systems for trucks and SUVs. To maintain as best as possible the OEM factory suspension geometry, the MaxTrac Suspension systems relocate the hub bearing location, rather than the ball joint locations. Mike said, “That’s where we gain our height. We’re not changing the geometry; the upper and lower ball joints remain in their relative locations. The hub bearing position is basically shifted within the already set range defined by the factory upper and lower ball joint distance.”

Although MaxTrac Suspension got started with two-wheel-drive suspension systems, the company also offers lift kits specifically designed for popular 4x4s such as the Jeep Wrangler JK.

Mike also brought up a good point about how MaxTrac Suspension kits are designed. “We have suspension systems for the customer who wants to lift, level or lower their ride, whether it be two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive. However, from the very start, MaxTrac Suspension worked to design two-wheel-drive truck and SUV suspension systems specific to the two-wheel-drive application. We don’t sell a ‘de-contented’ four-wheel-drive kit to the two-wheel-drive customer.”

Suspension System Selection

MaxTrac Suspension has a wide selection of suspension system upgrades to choose from. Among its suspension offerings are complete kits and singular components, so you can customize your truck or SUV exactly the way you want. Lift and lowering height options, depending on make and model of truck or SUV, range from 1 to 7 inches. Among the most popular in the MaxTrac Suspension lift category are its Ram 1500, Ford F-150, and Jeep Gladiator suspension kits. But the Chevy truck kit has been a big hit too. Mike said, “We have a pretty solid kit for the two-wheel-drive Chevy pickup. It will give you 6.5 inches of lift and the ability to fit much larger tires.”

One of the most popular MaxTrac suspension lift kits is for the 2019-up Chevy Silverado 1500 pickup. The kit puts 6 inches of lift into the Silverado’s suspension without altering the factory suspension and steering geometry.

Complete lift system kits from MaxTrac Suspension usually include its ductile steel spindles, brackets, springs, shackles, new shocks (with upgrades such as name-brand high-quality performance shock absorbers available for some), and new brake lines. Leveling kits normally consist of spacers and spacer retainer brackets. Lowering kits are generally much like the lift kits, complete with all the necessary components including aluminum a-arms to achieve that stance you’re looking for. Included with MaxTrac Suspension any lift, level, or lowering kit is all the hardware needed to finish the job right.

Super Customer Service

MaxTrac Suspension’s willingness to offer customer support is one of the things we like best about the company. Not only can you contact them by phone or e-mail to ask questions before or after purchase of your MaxTrac suspension product, but it has downloadable instructions for many of its products that lead you step-by-step through installation basics. One of the most important components included with every MaxTrac Suspension product is complete and easy to follow installation instructions, most of which can also be found on the company’s website.

MaxTrac Suspension has a wide variety of vehicle and model applications available in its catalog, including lift kits for a beast like the Ford F-350 pickup.

If you’re scanning the interweb looking for a suspension system upgrade to lift, level, or lower your two-wheel-drive or four-wheel-drive truck or SUV, you don’t have to look much farther than MaxTrac Suspension. A few minutes spent on the MaxTrac Suspension website will be rewarded with the satisfaction that you’re getting a product designed specifically for your vehicle at a price that won’t leave you feeling exhausted.
