Ford Bronco deliveries are finally underway, and aftermarket companies like 4Wheel parts have already started introducing programs for the Blue Oval brand’s latest off-roader. After bringing us offerings like the F-150 VelociRaptor, Hennessey Performance Engineering has now focused its attention on the popular 2021 Ford Bronco with a VelociRaptor 400 Bronco.
Recently, the Texan tuner also jumped on the bandwagon and unveiled its reproduction of the SUV, which is called the 400 Bronco. The Sealy, Texas-based brand is one of the most prolific Ford tuners in the world, and its latest VelociRaptor 400 package sports all signature Hennessey troops. In true HPE fashion, the company installed a wide range of aftermarket performance parts to give the Bronco a minor bump in power.
VelociRaptor 400 Bronco Performance Highlights:
- 405 horsepower at 5,700 RPM
- 503 lb-ft of maximum torque at 3,900 RPM
- 18-inch Hennessey Wheels
- Chassis Dyno Tuning & Road Testing
In addition to an upgraded exhaust system, Hennessey Performance Engineering also installed a high-flow air induction system. The tuner also remapped the Bronco with HPE’s proprietary engine management software. Hennessey Performance claims that HPE VelociRaptor 400 can hit the 60 MPH mark from a complete standstill and in 4.9 seconds.
The car gets a murdered out black paint scheme, and its alloy wheels are wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires. Customers can get both soft stop and hardtop versions of VelociRaptor 400 Bronco, and Hennessy Performance Engineering backs its product with a 3-year or 36000-mile limited warranty. The company will only produce 200 examples of the SUV for 2021.
