Jeep is continuing its yearlong Twelve 4 Twelve celebration with the debut of the Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition, a special model that blends heritage-inspired design with the trail-ready capability enthusiasts expect from the brand. This limited-run Wrangler marks the third of 12 exclusive models planned to honor 85 years of Jeep.

Following the earlier reveals of the Wrangler Moab 392 in November and the 2026 Wrangler Whitecap in December, the 85th Anniversary Edition takes a different approach, leaning heavily into Jeep Americana. The result is a Wrangler that feels both nostalgic and purpose-built, celebrating the brand’s past without sacrificing modern features or real-world usability.

Plaid with purpose. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition marks the third exclusive model in the Twelve 4 Twelve celebration.

Honoring 85 Years Of Purpose-Built Design

“For 85 uninterrupted years, every Jeep vehicle has been built with purpose, designed first for capability, engineered for real world use and shaped by the needs of those who rely on it,” said Bob Broderdorf, Jeep brand CEO. “The Wrangler 85th Anniversary special edition reflects this enduring mindset, translating into thoughtful details and authentic design cues that honor the past while continuing to deliver confidence and capability for today’s adventures.”

That philosophy is evident throughout the vehicle, from its design details to its standard equipment, reinforcing Jeep’s long-standing commitment to function-first engineering.

Plaid Takes Center Stage Inside The Cabin

Inside the Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition, plaid seat inserts set the tone. The design channels generations of outdoor adventure and hardworking tradition, with each seat featuring an exclusive 85th Anniversary tag. Matching plaid accents on the instrument panel and mid bolster create a cohesive, heritage-inspired interior.

Commemorative details include an 85th Anniversary shifter medallion and cupholder plaque, while durable Berber floor and cargo mats are designed to handle life on and off the trail, blending style with everyday practicality.

Subtle Exterior Details With A Classic Jeep Feel

The exterior carries the heritage theme with a restrained but distinctive approach. Exclusive Steel Oxide-painted 17-inch wheels are paired with bronze tow hooks, Blue Agave 85th Anniversary badges and decals, and body-color fender flares. The look is clean and refined while remaining unmistakably Wrangler, striking a balance between classic Jeep character and modern execution.

Modern Comfort, Technology, And Safety Come Standard

Beyond its appearance, the Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition arrives well equipped. The standard Convenience Group includes heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, remote start, and keyless passive entry. Alpine premium audio is also standard, along with deep-tint windows, a Gorilla Glass windshield, heated mirrors, and automatic headlamps.

LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, and fog lamps are included, as are advanced safety technologies such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, and advanced braking.

Factory Options Add Personalization And Capability

Buyers can further tailor their Wrangler with optional factory upgrades, including a black molded-in-color hardtop or a body-color hardtop. Jeep is also offering an upgrade to all-terrain tires at no additional cost, allowing customers to enhance both appearance and off-road capability right from the showroom.

Gladiator Also Joins The 85th Anniversary Celebration

Jeep is extending the celebration beyond the Wrangler with the introduction of the Gladiator 85th Anniversary Edition. The industry’s only open-air pickup receives the same heritage-inspired plaid interior details and commemorative touches, giving truck buyers their own way to celebrate 85 years of Jeep capability.

Pricing And Availability

Orders are now open for both 2026 models. The Jeep Wrangler 85th Anniversary Edition is priced at just $710 over a comparably equipped Sport S with the Convenience Group and Alpine audio, with pricing starting at $46,300, excluding the $1,995 destination charge. The Gladiator 85th Anniversary Edition is priced at $1,005 above a comparably equipped Sport S Gladiator, with an MSRP starting at $45,820, also excluding destination.

Additional Jeep brand vehicles are set to receive 85th Anniversary special-edition models in the coming months, continuing the Twelve 4 Twelve series and highlighting the depth of Jeep’s lineup as the brand marks 85 years of off-road leadership.
