Almost every off-road enthusiast at one time or another has been to a monster truck show and seen the gigantically tall trucks with massive tires and tremendously powerful engines being catapulted over stacks of junk cars, trucks, buses, and just about every other assortment of vehicle you can imagine. It’s an authentic automotive thrill show like no other!

MonsterFord-1The sport is filled with awesome machinery, intense competition and incredible driving expertise, and has created heroes out of the drivers and trucks that have been in the sport now for decades. It has become so popular and so financially beneficial that it has also attracted drivers from other motorsports circles such as rally, motocross and off-road racing like Travis Pastrana, Brian Deegan and Kyle LeDuc.

And like any other sport or show, there will always be the wannabees, those who aspire to be like those winning professionals, but just don’t seem to quite get there somehow.

That’s what the video above is all about. The driver shown in the video has some fairly large rubber rolling underneath the reddish Ford Crew Cab he is piloting, and there is obviously quite a bit of suspension lift between the frame and ground, offering substantial ground clearance, and what would appear to be a solid chance of clearing the small pile of wreaked cars and trucks he is obviously bent on crushing and leaping over.

In addition, judging by the initial speed of the truck, it seems to have the necessary escape velocity to leave the Earth and get over the pile of metal carnage waiting in its path. But you’ll just have to wait and see …
