With the Mint 400 just a few days away, anticipation is at an all-time high for race teams, driver, event staff, and the media alike. Off Road Xtreme will be on site this year at the 2015 Mint 400 bringing the live coverage to our readers and as such, we wanted to take some time to recognize one of the coolest additions to the Mint 400 sponsorship lineup.

Off-road racing is a tight knit community and is comprised of hard working folks who like to have fun. RC cars go hand-in-hand with off-road racing and are a great way to have some fun when out camping or pitting for a team. Matt Martelli Mint 400 CEO expressed his gratitude to Traxxas by saying, “Traxxas is a perfect fit and they have a history of supporting off-road racing. Their product perfectly aligns with our goal of introducing new people to off-road. What better way than handing someone a radio controlled car as an example of what we do in full size vehicles?” We have to agree with Martelli’s standpoint because not only are the Traxxas cars a blast to drive, but they really help grow off-road racing by reaching other markets.
