Back by popular demand, the 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel X is officially returning to Ram’s light-duty lineup. After earning a loyal following last year, the Rebel X rejoins the Rebel family as a direct response to customer feedback, blending exclusive off-road technology with premium comfort and aggressive styling in a value-minded package that delivers more content for less.
Built From Customer Demand
“The Rebel X was a customer favorite last year, so we’re bringing it back for more,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, NA Marketing and Retail Strategy. “Rebel X hits the sweet spot of advanced tech, interior comfort and true off-road capability, all in an aggressive looking package backed by America’s best full-size truck and van limited powertrain warranty.”
That formula—advanced tech, premium interior appointments, and legitimate off-road hardware—positions the 2026 Rebel X as the most advanced and capable Rebel yet.

Powering The X: Hurricane Twin Turbo Performance
Under the hood, the Rebel X is exclusively paired with the 3.0-liter S.O. Hurricane Twin Turbo inline-six, delivering a stout 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. This high-output six-cylinder provides the kind of broad torque curve that makes a difference both crawling over obstacles and powering through deep sand or mud.
The Rebel X package is offered as an upgrade to the Ram 1500 Rebel equipped with the Level 2 Equipment Group and the Hurricane engine, creating a well-rounded performance platform right from the factory.
To enhance driver engagement, the Rebel X adds a console-mounted leather-wrapped performance shifter and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters—bringing a more hands-on, connected feel.

Rough Road Cruise Control: Tech That Works Off The Pavement
One of the most significant additions to the 2026 Rebel X is a feature you won’t find on other Rebel models: Rough Road Cruise Control.
This advanced system, exclusive to the Rebel X, uses adaptive speed control and adjustable steering weight to maintain off-road speed based on terrain, operating at speeds up to 20 mph. Rather than constantly modulating the throttle over uneven surfaces, drivers can let the system manage speed, allowing them to focus more intently on wheel placement and obstacle navigation.

Factory-Built Capability
The Rebel X builds on the inherent capability of the Ram 1500 Rebel, which already comes equipped with serious off-road hardware. A one-inch suspension lift with Bilstein front and rear monotube shocks gives the truck added ground clearance and improved damping over rough terrain. An electronic locking rear differential (E-locker) ensures traction when conditions get technical, while underbody skid plates protect vital components from trail damage.
Front tow hooks are ready for recovery duty, and black 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires provide both bite and stance straight from the factory.

Premium Interior, Trail-Ready Attitude
While capability remains the foundation, the Rebel X layers on significant comfort and technology.
Building on the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group, the X package includes a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, premium leather/vinyl bucket seats with red accent stitching, and a red-accented, glass-encased “Rebel X” center console badge that reinforces its exclusive identity. “Rebel X” bedside graphics complete the exterior statement.
Inside, the technology suite is equally impressive. A 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster pairs with a massive 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, while a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium sound system delivers concert-level audio.
Class-exclusive features like a 10.25-inch front passenger interactive display and dual wireless charging pads bring modern convenience to the cabin. Heated and ventilated front seats, an eight-way power passenger seat with lumbar, heated rear seats, and a heated leather steering wheel ensure comfort whether you’re commuting during the week or heading deep into the backcountry on the weekend.

Introducing Tank Clear-Coat
The 2026 Rebel X also debuts a new color option: Tank Clear-Coat. Inspired by military green, the new hue underscores the truck’s rugged character and is now available on select models across the Ram 1500 lineup.

Availability And Pricing
Orders for the 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel X are now open, with pricing starting at $71,930, including destination and the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group.
For off-road enthusiasts who want factory-backed capability, exclusive trail-focused technology, and upscale features in a single, cohesive package, the Rebel X makes a compelling case. It’s not just a trim level—it’s Ram’s answer to drivers who want to push beyond the pavement without giving up performance, comfort, or cutting-edge tech.
