While we were out at the 2018 Sand Sports Super Show, we had the good fortune of catching up with the suspension experts at Hyperco. Everyone who wanted to know more about the company’s latest developments had a first-hand way of checking out their products, and we cut in to see what all the hubbub was about.
On hand to speak with us was Kelly Falls. “We’re excited to be here and showcase what we bring to the off-road market,” he said. “Primarily, we’re proud of our turnkey kits, which have everything a customer needs for installation and tuning.”

The main attractions at Hyperco’s booth were the UTV Performance Spring Kits for the Polaris RZR and RS1. Upon installation, the springs offer a dependable ride height, consistent spring rates, and tuning to accommodate different driver tastes.
The kits, called the UTV Performance Spring Kits, are primarily intended for the best-selling Polaris RZR line – RZR XP Turbo and RZR XP1000 – as well as the single-seater RS1. Hyperco’s springs address issues of longevity and strength, which can be found lacking in the original equipment units.
“The main upgrade we’re offering here is durability over the OE springs,” explained Falls. “When a customer puts on a kit like this, he’s going to enjoy a consistent ride height, optimized spring rates, and the ability to tune the springs to his liking.”
With staff on hand and a functioning coilover tester nearby, Hyperco brought more knowledge and appreciation of spring tuning to the event. “We’re really making a big push to educate the consumers on the tunability they can have, and it’s often something they don’t know about,” said Falls.
And rest easy, UTV fans – Falls told us that Hyperco is working on expanding the spring kits to other makes and models, including the Can-Am Maverick and Yamaha YXZ1000R.
