We have a couple of sketches to show you that were released by Chrysler of some of its select Mopar-modified vehicles that the company says are headed for the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas, Nevada in a couple of weeks.
The SEMA Show takes place November 5-8 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and it’s the biggest thing happening in the automotive world when it comes to new parts, accessories and custom vehicles in the hot rod, custom car and off-road vehicle culture.
The first sketch we have to offer is of the Ram pickup truck and appears to be surf inspired with boards stacked on a wave-design bed rack, with a vented engine hood, rugged off-road tires, sun visor and headlight covers.
The second, and more clear, appears to be the front end of a Jeep Grand Cherokee sporting sleek nose and headlight styling similar to the TrailHawk, as well as bright orange tow hooks, an orange-trimmed hood, and aggressive off-road tires.
Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar, Chrysler Group LLC’s service, parts and customer-care brand, said, “We developed these Mopar-modified vehicles to inspire ultimate customization.” Gorlier continued, “With catalogs full of proven, quality-tested performance parts and accessories, Mopar is a one-stop shop for factory-engineered personalization.”
The company will display 20 Mopar-modified Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat and SRT vehicles at the show in a 15,300 square-foot exhibit. In addition to custom vehicles, the company will highlight Jeep Performance Parts developed by its newly created Mopar Off-Road Division.
Stay tuned to Off-Road Xtreme, as our staff will be attending the industry only SEMA show, and will be broadcasting the latest news so you can be the first to see all the hot new products and vehicles!
