Pretty much everyone in the off-road industry has been patiently awaiting the arrival of the next generation Jeep Wrangler. We’ve seen pretty of small leaks over the last year, but today Jeep made the full reveal date official.
Previous leaks pointed towards the Jeep Wrangler being debuted at the L.A. Auto Show on November 29th and those leaks turned out to be true. All the specifics and additional photos of the new Wrangler will be made available when it is debuted, but for now here’s what Jeep has to say: “The most capable SUV ever delivers even more legendary Jeep® 4×4 capability, a modern design that stays true to the original, advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, more open-air options, and is loaded with more safety features and advanced technology than ever before. The all-new Wrangler’s unique design includes an instantly recognizable keystone-shaped grille, iconic round headlamps and square tail lamps, improved aerodynamics, a convenient fold-down windshield for off-road purists, even more, open-air freedom, and dozens of different door, top and windshield combinations.”
The Jeep Wrangler is one of the most modified vehicles in the world, and Jeep knows this. As with Wranglers in the past, Jeep will be offering aftermarket parts through their Mopar division. At SEMA they showed off 200 new parts that were developed to work with the new Wrangler totaling up to over 100,000 hours of development time.
Some of the products shown off include: Mopar roof rack for those who need that extra luggage capacity, JPP LED off-road light in 5-inch and 7-inch sizes, auxiliary switch bank for accessories, tailgate table, 2-inch lift kit, Mopar bikini tops, JPP rock rails/sliders, JPP beadlock-capable wheels, Mopar Warn winch, Rubicon off-road bumper, vehicle graphics, tire covers, grab handles, fuel doors, and all-weather floor mats.
We’re super excited to see these parts put into use. Parts like the tailgate table and roof rack will be great for off-roaders who like to go out on big adventures for extended periods of time.
