The Blue Oval’s performance pickups are stirring up quite a lot of excitement in the industry. The company recently introduced the third generation of its lauded F-150 Raptor nameplate, and now renowned tuning house ROUSH Performance has introduced the all-new 2021 Ranger package.
Jack Roush Jr. shared his thoughts on the new Ranger package, “The Ranger has quickly become one of the most popular midsized trucks on the market,” He further added, “We’ve expanded upon the truck’s already good capabilities, enhancing its looks and equipping it to perform better on nearly any terrain.”
The tuning company offers the new Ranger with a wide range of performance upgrades, which include more off-road-capable suspension and refreshed interior. This upgraded Ranger rides on new 18-inch rims, which are wrapped in 32-inch General Grabber A/TX all-terrains.
The stock exhaust setup has also been swapped in favor of a cat-back system, which results in a bump in overall power output, and adds more baritones to the engine note. The Ranger’s new exhaust is made out of 304 stainless steel, which is corrosion-resistant and legal in all 50 states. It also offers dual wall stainless steel exhaust tips as part of its Ranger package.
In addition to improving the truck’s off-road capability, ROUSH/Fox 2.0 Coilover suspension also offers two inches of lift that bestow an aggressive stance to the ROUSH Ranger. Fox uses 6061-T6 aluminum for the front and rear shocks. The company claims that thanks to its internal floating pistons and Ranger-specific valving, the ROUSH Ranger will offer a stable and smooth ride over any terrain.
ROUSH offers its Ranger package for all 2021 models that come equipped with Ford’s 2.3-liter EcoBoost powerplant. Prices for the ROUSH’s Ranger package start from $12,750, and the tuner also offers a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty. What do you think of this package for the Ranger?
