Roush Performance has announced the return of its RT6 production truck for the 2026 model year, and this time it arrives with a fully integrated 6-inch suspension system engineered in-house. Known for its aftermarket superchargers, engines and pre-titled performance vehicles, the Livonia, Michigan-based company is drawing on decades of engineering and motorsports development to deliver a truck that blends off-road capability with OEM-level refinement and safety standards.

At the center of the 2026 RT6 package is the Roush 6.0 Performance Suspension System, a comprehensive lift solution designed, engineered and validated by Roush as a complete system rather than a mix of standalone components.

Engineering The Foundation: The Roush 6.0 Performance Suspension System

The backbone of the 2026 RT6 is its fully integrated 6-inch lift system. Instead of simply stacking parts to achieve height, Roush approached the suspension as a cohesive engineering project. Precision-engineered lift spindles establish proper suspension geometry, helping maintain predictable handling characteristics both on pavement and off the beaten path.

Up front, the system uses coilovers with tuned spring rates and twin-tube dampers designed to manage suspension travel across varied terrain. Heavy-duty front knuckles and reinforced suspension components increase strength and durability, particularly when the truck is subjected to uneven trails or aggressive driving. In the rear, traction bars help control axle movement and improve stability under acceleration—an important detail for lifted trucks running larger tires.

Protection and structural integrity were also key considerations. High-clearance crossmembers provide additional room for articulation while maintaining rigidity, and a ¼-inch laser-cut skid plate adds underbody protection where it counts most. Every element has been developed to function together as a unified package, delivering consistent performance whether commuting during the week or heading out for a weekend trail run.

A Stance To Match The Capability

The RT6’s upgraded suspension is paired with hardware that complements its increased ride height and width. The truck rides on 35-inch General Grabber A/TX all-terrain tires mounted to satin black 20-inch Roush off-road wheels, a combination intended to provide confident traction in demanding conditions while maintaining on-road manners.

Up front, a high-flow Roush grille with integrated lighting enhances airflow and gives the truck a distinct visual signature. Functional hood heat extractors assist with engine bay cooling, particularly useful under load or in warmer climates. Wide, paint-matched fender flares accommodate the larger tire package and emphasize the RT6’s broader track and aggressive stance.

A Roush Performance cat-back exhaust system completes the exterior upgrades, delivering a deeper, more assertive exhaust note without straying into excessive territory.

Integrated Design Inside And Out

Roush-specific design elements are incorporated throughout the vehicle. RT6 badging appears on the hood and tailgate, complemented by Roush fender extractors and Jack Roush signature graphics. Depending on the model, Roush puddle lamps add a subtle touch when entering or exiting the truck.

Inside the cabin, practicality remains a focus. Custom-molded Roush floor liners help protect the interior from dirt and debris—an important feature for off-road enthusiasts who regularly track mud or sand into the cab. Roush “R” key fobs and a Roush hitch cover are also included as standard equipment, rounding out the cohesive theme.

Available Premium Upgrades

For buyers looking to further tailor their RT6, Roush offers an optional Premium Package. This adds the Roush Performance Active Exhaust System, allowing drivers to adjust exhaust tone as conditions or preferences dictate. The Roush Performance Off-Road Lighting System introduces a front amber light bar and rear bumper LED floods to enhance visibility on the trail or at the campsite.

Interior enhancements include a Roush Carbon-Fiber Interior Trim Package and the Premium Leather Interior Package, available in Raven Black. An integrated overhead auxiliary switch panel provides organized control of lighting and accessories, reflecting the truck’s intended dual-purpose use.

Additional options include the Roush Ready Package, which bundles a console vault, utility kit and jump starter, along with a Roush Bedside Graphic Package in black or silver. Off-Road Ditch Lights with covers by Diode Dynamics are also available for those who frequently find themselves navigating tight or poorly lit trails.

Pricing And Availability

The 2026 Roush RT6 starts at $22,995 above the original vehicle’s purchase price for the base model. It is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, offering additional peace of mind for buyers investing in a fully engineered, pre-titled performance truck.
