Jeep and The Rolling Stones are two iconic brands that have been around since the beginning of time and we can’t think of a better pairing to better raise some money for a worthwhile cause. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood, and Charlie Watts added their signatures to the pint size, Italian Jeep and when the gavel fell, the car brought almost twice its list price at $46,000.

The world is waiting for this diminutive Renegade hoping it’s a real Jeep, even though it’s the first to be assembled in Italy. With the Dart, Liberty, and 200 already on the road, the baby Renegade will test the strength of Jeep buyer loyalty and whether the shotgun marriage of Chrysler and Fiat can flourish by combining the best of both companies. Sounds easy but something Daimler/Chrysler was never able to pull off.

The Renegade was created from the start to conquer global markets. This Italian flavored Jeep will be sold in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, North and South America, and Europe. The US market gets a Fiat 1.4 turbo engine hooked up to a six-speed manual transmission, or the Chrysler 2.4 liter four-cylinder with the ZF-designed, Chrysler-built 928TE nine-speed automatic. Two AWD systems will be available as well.

Proceeds from the sale, handled by Charitybuzz.com, will benefit Community Links, a social-inclusion organization based in London.
