Powermaster has never taken a day off when it comes to delivering you strong and reliable products. And when it comes to the high-demand vehicles, Powermaster is a company that steps up to the challenge and offers quality time and again.

The Powermaster MasterTorque 9633, for ’86-’98 2.5L engines.

Jeeps are no exception. As the off-roader of choice for many of us, Powermaster has dedicated a vast amount of its resources to finding the perfect match for any and all of the venerable, time-tested off-road favorites. Powermaster’s catalogue has a couple of choices we can discuss: MasterTorque and XS Torque.

First, there is the MasterTorque for 1986-98 Jeeps. Gear-reduction-drive technology offers some serious twist to these little guys. Those starters pump out as much as 180 pound-feet of torque. They can handle high-compression engines handily, tolerating ratios of up 12.0:1.

Like they say, “Great things come in small packages.” The saying is certainly true of the MasterTorque starter, which occupies relatively little space in the engine bay, and can be mounted in multiple orientations, even inverted.

The XS Torque 9515, for Jeeps with 290ci – 401ci engines.

Next up is the XS Torque, which really kicks things up a notch for Jeep vehicles. Super-efficient and ready to take on your purpose-built civilian monster, the XS Torque makes its mark with motors that put out up to 200 pound-feet of torque, with a massive 18.0:1 compression ratio to provide reliable cranking power every time.

The XS Torque also comes with a billet adapter/mounting block for superior durability. You can even order it in chrome finish, like the 1987-2004 L6 model (p/n 19516).

Ignition doesn’t have to be a daily struggle for you and your Jeep. With Powerstarter, you’ll have torque on your side to help you get up and get going. Check out more information on these and other products by visiting Powerstarter on its website and Facebook page.
