There are plenty of options when it comes to building out your Jeep Grand Cherokee, but few companies have it down like ARB. The company that originated in Australia really knows how to design parts and accessories for vehicles to be tough and rugged in the outback and in the outdoors here in the States.

Clearance lights and turn signals, as well as fog light surrounds, are standard with the new bumper.

One of its newest pieces of heavy duty equipment that we really fell for is the new Deluxe Bar to fit the front ends of 2011 to 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokees. The ARB Deluxe Bar is a combination front winch bumper, light bar that retains much of the OE features of the vehicle, as well as improving upon the vehicle’s overall performance. The ARB Deluxe Bar for the 2014 model Grand Cherokee is currently in development and will be released shortly.

The test program for the bar development included articulation tests to ensure proper bar clearance, rough surface driving, winch load testing, Hi-Lift jack point testing and both low speed suburban and freeway driving. Improvements in approach angle for the vehicle’s front end was improved as a result of this new bumper.

For winch fitment, the ARB No. 3540050 winch install kit is required. This includes a folding license plate bracket, longer power cables and all fasteners required to fit a Warn winch to the bar.

The new combination bar includes laser cut holes in the top of the center pan for a range of compatible driving lights such as ARB Intensity LED & IPF 968, 800 and 900 series lights. As well, ARB fog light surrounds with recessed clearance/indicator light assemblies are standard and can be upgraded to include an optional ARB fog light kit.

A recess (left photo) on each side of the front bumper is designed specifically as a lift point for the Hi-Lift jack. A single right-side tow point (right photo) on the new bumper replaces both OE hooks, and features a 5-ton capacity.

Two antenna mounts are welded to the center tube to allow fitment of UHF/AM radio and mobile phone antennas. The bar also offers has four factory parking sensors. Plugs are supplied for vehicles without factory parking sensors. An additional FCW radar kit No. 3550100 is required to fit the factory front radar system. A single tow point is designed to replace the tow points removed when fitting the ARB bar, the right hand mount incorporates a 5-ton rated tow point.
