Be prepared for the worst with a new lineup of recovery straps from Mac’s Tie Downs. Whether it’s mud or a precipitous drop, you’ll feel better when you carry along one of these recovery straps. You’ll have 20 or 30′ to reach your vehicle, and up to a whopping 57,000 lb breaking strength to pull even the largest rig out.
Official Release:
When your vehicle is stuck, having proper recovery straps is a must. Unfortunately, one size does not fit all and that’s why Mac’s Tie Downs is excited to offer a variety of recovery strap options to meet the needs of vehicles all shapes and sizes. Like all of Mac’s products, the Recovery Straps are made in America using the highest quality design, materials and workmanship.
“Our Mac’s straps are tested and used in a variety of situations, including towing a 36,000lb concrete truck up a steep graded hill at a recent off road challenge,” said Colin McLemore, President of Mac’s Tie Downs. “Our straps have definitely been put to the test and I’m confident they can handle anything thrown at them.”
The Mac’s Recovery Straps are made of nylon so that they can stretch and store extra kinetic energy, making it easier to get a vehicle unstuck. The straps come in four standard widths of webbing including a 2-inch (17,000lb breaking strength), 3-inch (27,000lb breaking strength), 4-inch (37,000lb breaking strength) and 6-inch (57,000lb breaking strength). The straps, available in yellow, come in two different lengths, 20 feet and 30 feet, and custom lengths can be created for different applications.
Features:
- Made of nylon for better stretching properties
- Four standard widths ranging from 2-6″
