Diamond In The Rough: Now You Can Spend $100K On A Jeep All At Once

If there’s one thing we off-roaders do not like to do, it’s tally up all the mods we put on our rigs. We joke about the fear of our spouses selling all the parts after our deaths, quoting this supercharger at $50 and that set of five Weld wheels at a $100. But the truth is, the kinds of things we slap on a Jeep are worth scratching our heads over every once in a while and saying, “Hmm, did I really need that extra light bar?”

It’s fair to say then that some folks really go overboard when it comes to suping up a 4×4. Case in point: this 2014 JK Unlimited Rubicon “Camo Edition,” upgraded and dolled up in the most extreme ways possible–the Wrangler is impressive, to the point of overwhelming.

Woogah-boogah-boogah!

Crafted by Starwood Motors in Dallas, the JKU was built for the 2014 Dallas Safari Club Convention. The index of all the modifications done to the Jeep reads like a laundry list of reckless abandon on par with a certain drunken movie revolving around Las Vegas and a pissed-off Chinese man.

Some of the highlights include the following: red hot HID “Halo” lights, Viper bumpers front and rear, Teraflex long-arm suspension, AMP Research Power Steps, AEV heat reduction hood and hood pins, Kevlar body armor corners, WARN Zeon 10K winch, two Rigid Industries 50-inch light bars, 20-inch American Force wheels, and 37-inch Nitto Trail Grappler tires. And let’s not forget the ostentatious Kevlar finish, giving off an urban camouflage pattern that does quite the opposite of its intended purpose.

Inside, passengers can avail themselves of the plush leather seats inspired by a Ferrari 458 Italia supercar, as well as SIRIUSXM satellite radio that booms through a series of Alpine stereo speakers and subwoofers. Don’t worry, though; you can still have your “Yee-haw!” factor intact with the center console gun rack, ready to store your woodland-themed Mossberg or Winchester.

The price (last time we checked its Jeep page) for this gem of a Jeep sits squarely at $99,885. Starwood Motors generously offers financing for this vehicle, but is it really worth a second look? Voice your opinions in the comments below.
