Act fast while the promotion lasts, folks. Right now, Mickey Thompson is clearing up a section of its choice inventory, and available for the taking are its Classic Big Rig wheels, perfect for guys and gals looking to spice up the look of their trucks for the right price.

We spoke with Robert DeJarnette, Regional Marketing Manager & Marketing Program Manager for the company, who shared some details about the wheels. Developed over four years ago, the Classic Big Rigs were an answer to the market asking for a high-load (in this case, 3100 pounds) wheel capable of fitting larger tires, but at a fraction of the price.

“You had guys who would go out and purchase these [competing] wheels and tires, and total around 2,500 bucks,” said DeJarnette. He states that Mickey Thompson opted to offer the BRCs for far less, so a guy could have wheels and tires without breaking the bank.

Any concern of that happening can now be put to rest however, as the company’s sale has hacked off more than half of what these wheels originally cost. DeJarnette affirms that the sale will continue until “everything’s been sold,” so chances are you can grab a set right now and still have enough left over to buy some swell M/T tires to go with them.

Some of the finer features of the wheels are the highly polished surface and holes, as well as the non-corrosive, chromed plastic cap that covers the stock lugs. Your rig will be looking downright awesome, affecting a tough 10-lug appearance, while secretly maintaining the stock 6- or 8-lug setup.
