Benjamin Franklin once said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” As off-roaders, we gain knowledge every time we go out on a trail or speed through the desert. Now, a new source of knowledge is opening up – the Jeep Adventure Academy.
Starting in October 2020, Jeep is hosting three separate events across the country. These events aim to teach new and experienced owners how to get the best use out of their 4×4. It’s an exciting opportunity that shows Jeep’s commitment to its fanbase, while also having some fun out on the trail.
The Adventure Academy will have something to offer both new and veteran off-roaders.
“Off-roading is a rite of passage for 4×4 owners, and the new Adventure Academy will provide key knowledge every off-roader can use for hitting the trails,” said Jim Morrison, Head of Jeep Brand, FCA – North America. “Adventure Academy underscores the Jeep brand’s commitment to delivering 4×4 vehicles that provide owners with a sense of capability, safety, and security to handle any condition or adventure with confidence.”
During these events, Jeep will teach about several topics important to the off-roading experience. These include 4×4 system basics, driving techniques, trail etiquette, reading terrain, and more.
Three events will take place in Missouri, Michigan, and California.
The first event is October 2-4 at the Holly Oaks Off Road Vehicle Park in Holly Oaks, Michigan. The second event is October 9-11 at the Southern Missouri Off-Road Ranch in Seymour, Missouri. Finally, the last event is October 16-18 at the Hollister Hills State Vehicular Recreation Area in Hollister, California.
