King of the Hammers is in full swing and with the T1s on course right now, it is almost time to switch the focus to tomorrow’s 4400-class main event race. The 4400 race has long been the highlight of the week-long event and even with all the other events during the week it still brings the largest crowds.
This 4400 race will take place Friday, February 7th, and features the top drivers in some of the industries’ most advanced vehicles. After racing earlier this week in the UTV race, Cody Miller will be entering his Maverick X3 into the main event race.
Cody Miller, a Texas native, is a Can-Am Factory racer and reigning WORCS UTV Pro Champ and was also the top qualifier in the King of the Hammers UTV event; Miller finished that race ninth overall. This is not the first time this has been attempted, but it’s Cody’s first time.

Cody Miller’s older brother, Hunter pictured above, won the UTV King of the Hammers race on Sunday. Hunter’s co-driver Chad Hughes will be Cody’s co-driver in the race on Friday.
Cody did qualify with the 4400 class and qualified 23rd. During the race, Cody will have Chad Hughes as his co-pilot, the same guy who helped guide Hunter Miller to the victory in theĀ UTV King of the Hammers race earlier this week.
This is great news for the sport and adds something for the spectators to look for during the race. We will have to wait and see how Cody will end up doing racing his Can-Am in the big boy 4400 class. How do you think he will do? Tell us in the comments below!
