On November 11, 2025, Fox Factory and Jeep marked Veterans Day with more than remembrance—it introduced a rolling salute to America’s heroes. As the U.S. Army and Marine Corps celebrate their 250th anniversaries, Fox Factory unveiled the Wrangler Commando, a limited-edition off-road powerhouse that honors eight decades of military heritage.

Only 250 units of this special-edition Wrangler will be produced. Of those, 249 are reserved exclusively for active-duty military personnel and veterans, while the final unit will be auctioned during Military Appreciation Month. Every dollar from that auction will benefit the USO, helping to support the men and women who serve.

For more than 80 years, Jeep has stood as a symbol of freedom, endurance, and exploration—from the muddy battlefields of World War II to the most punishing trails on Earth. The Wrangler Commando continues that legacy with purpose and precision, engineered to tackle terrain as fierce and unrelenting as the soldiers it honors.

Unleashing Military-Grade Power

At the heart of the Wrangler Commando lies the legendary 392 HEMI 6.4-liter V-8 engine, a brute of a powerplant that delivers unmistakable muscle and sound. For drivers who crave even more intensity, Fox Factory offers an optional Whipple Supercharger that boosts total output to a staggering 705 horsepower. This upgrade, priced at $11,495, transforms the Commando into one of the most powerful Wranglers ever created.

The foundation of the Commando’s capability begins with a JKS 3.5-inch Performance Lift Suspension System, offering enhanced ground clearance and improved articulation over obstacles. Supporting that system are Fox 3.0 internal bypass shocks with remote reservoirs, race-inspired dampers tuned for precision control over rough terrain. A Fox ATS steering stabilizer ensures confidence on high-speed runs and tight technical crawls alike, allowing the Commando to remain composed when conditions get unpredictable.

The Jeep’s contact with the ground is managed through Nitto 37-inch Ridge Grappler tires mounted on 17×8.5-inch beadlock-capable wheels finished in Ivory White. Every aspect of the suspension and tire setup is tuned to balance race-bred handling with uncompromising off-road durability.

Purpose-Built Hardware For The Hardcore

The Wrangler Commando arrives ready for action straight from the factory. Its Mopar stubby front steel bumper integrates seamlessly with LED lighting and winch capability. For those who demand even more trail security, an optional Warn 12,000-pound winch is available, providing the muscle to haul out of nearly any recovery situation.

Jeep’s dedication to both form and function continues with steel high-top fenders, painted to match the body for a cohesive, military-inspired look while providing ample clearance for the 37-inch tires. An optional Magnaflow exhaust system with black tips, priced at $3,395, enhances both tone and performance, ensuring that the Commando sounds as commanding as it looks.

The color-matching exterior, known as the ‘41 Paint Tribute, pays homage to the original Willys Jeep that carried American troops into battle during World War II. The result is a vehicle that merges classic military heritage with cutting-edge off-road technology.

Designed For Command And Comfort

Inside, the Wrangler Commando blends ruggedness with refinement. The tan leather interior is accented with embroidered Commando insignia, giving the cabin a sense of purpose and identity. An interior-mounted spare tire rack with an integrated accessory panel ensures that trail gear and recovery tools stay secure, accessible, and balanced.

Open-air freedom remains at the core of the Commando’s design. Color-matched tube doors deliver the iconic Jeep experience, allowing drivers to feel every gust of wind and sense every incline without compromising safety. A custom Bimini top by Bestop provides just enough shelter from the elements while keeping that unmistakable open-sky feel that Jeep loyalists crave.

Built To Conquer The Impossible

The Wrangler Commando is engineered for domination, built to thrive where others falter. Its 3.5-inch lift and race-grade Fox shocks make short work of jagged rock gardens, while the 705-horsepower supercharged HEMI makes every dune and climb an adrenaline-charged assault on the senses. Nitto’s 37-inch Ridge Grappler tires grip through mud, sand, and stone with unrelenting bite, while 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels ensure tire integrity under the harshest pressures.

The Mopar stubby bumper and high-clearance fenders add utility and aggression in equal measure, while the color-matched ‘41 exterior and tan leather interior tie it all together as a rolling tribute to Jeep’s legacy of freedom and performance.

Starting at $69,995, the Jeep Wrangler Commando represents more than just craftsmanship and capability—it stands as a statement of gratitude and strength. It’s an heirloom of American engineering, a collector’s edition built for those who understand the price of freedom and the thrill of adventure.
