The Off Road Expo held at the Fairplex in Pomona, California is turning into the SEMA Show of the off-road community. The show is growing year after year and showcases some of the top manufactures and builds in the industry.
From Jeeps to lifted trucks and everything in between. It was all out at the 2016 Off Road Expo.
With the show drawing some of the biggest names and builders it is a show that you need to be at if you are in the industry. This year we got the chance to walk around and check out all the vehicles, from UTVs to Trophy Trucks everything was covered.
In addition to all the vendors at the show, we were able to spot the Dirt Alliance crew out representing with some of their trucks outside one of the main halls. With them was Blake Wilkey and his new modified VW. You may have remembered that Wilkey had a run in with the law from his send off YouTube video in his last VW. Regardless of what you think about it, the vehicles are still a work of art.
This is no ordinary air-cooled VW. This is an LS powered monster bug!
The event hosted its annual show-n-shine which brought in anything from modified Jeeps to fully built King of the Hammers vehicles. The show is a great place to walk around and get ideas for your build as there are plenty of options on display.
Looking for something specific. We were able to spot all sorts of vehicles out at the expo.
For us, this is a great warmup to see what the industry will be for the next year. There are a lot of great looking vehicles out with plenty of modifications. What was your favorite vehicle of the show? Tell us in the comments below!
