Built by Dirt-Tech this pre-runner was constructed to be used by a professional off-road team as a chase vehicle. Dirt-Tech spent a lot of time and elbow grease to transform her into a ferocious beast.
Since she see’s a lot race course, a performance suspension had to be built to allow her to comb the desert at high speeds. The suspension was fabricated using King coilover shocks and a FOX external cooling system to prevent the shocks from being overheated. CNC six-piston calipers are equipped on all fours to bring the truck to a stand still and a set General tires provide the grip for the sand box.
A muscular Roush/Yates engine sits in the front bay. This is no ordinary engine–it’s a former NASCAR Nextel Cup motor that produces 800 HP, 600 pound-feet of torque, and will turn 8,500 RPM. The motor is equipped with dual ignition systems and its power is supplied by dual Optima batteries.

The motor is mated to C-6 transmission with a TCS converter, Mogi-built valve body and TCS internals. The power is sent to both sets of wheels using an Atlas II transfer case. A Dirt-Tech rear with a 40-spline spool TCS axles sits outback to navigate the wheels through the sandbox.
Inside of the cockpit rest three bucket seats, an aftermarket dash, an 8-inch Lowrance GPS and a radio/intercom system. A roll cage featuring all 4130 chromoly construction protects the drivers.
The F-150 is street legal in the state of Arizona, but in a matter of minutes it can be converted to race by simply by removing all of the glass. Since the F-150’s completion, the truck has only tallied 150 miles. The truck is listed for sale at Race-Dezert.
