Germany is a country that’s nearly as passionate as America when it comes to automobiles, and there are a number of tuning houses there that can rival anything the USA has to offer. One of the foremost German tuners is Geiger. It normally busies itself with American muscle car projects, like the Agent Orange Camaro or Geiger Challenger.
But is there any vehicle more American than the Ford F-150 pickup? Of course not, which explains why Geiger gave one of Ford’s SVT Raptor off-road pickups the once over, painting it a lovely shade of green as well as a host of performance mods. And what did ze Germans call their creation? “The Beast.”
The black-and-green look of the Beast certainly is fearsome, with faux-claw swipes worked into the graphics and the natural stance of the Raptor proving as menacing as ever. The look even extends to the 22-inch rims the Beast wears, wrapped in Toyo tires. This Raptor is ready to go off-roading, either here or abroad.
The best-kept secret, however, is under the hood. There Geiger has added a supercharger to the Raptor’s 6.2 liter V8 engine, cranking out 572 horsepower and 525 pound-feet of torque for you to play with. But the Beast is for neither the faint of heart nor the light of wallet, as a full conversion will cost over $130,000, including the cost of the truck itself. That’s more than triple the cost of a factory Raptor. God Bless America, eh?
