It’s official. Tire Rack and Yokohama have partnered with the Fall 4-Wheel Jamboree in Indianapolis, Indiana. Consequently, the event’s formal title is now the 43rd Annual Tire Rack 4-Wheel Jamboree Fall Nationals Driven By Yokohama. The “Fall Jambo,” as it’s often called, is right around the corner, and it takes place September 13-15 (Friday-Sunday), 2024. This new partnership is yet another indication that the Fall Jambo is going to rock Indianapolis during its three-day run.
A Great Fit For The Fall Jambo
Tire Rack and Yokohama are a great fit for the off-road-focused Fall Jambo. Tire Rack offers a wide range of tires for 4x4s, and Yokohama offers the Geolandar line that include the X-AT all-terrain and the X-MT mud-terrain tires. Bryant Rankin, Senior Director of Strategic Accounts at Yokohama Tire Corporation, says, “Yokohama Tire and Tire Rack are thrilled to partner with Events Inc. on the 4-Wheel Jamboree Fall Nationals. It is a beloved, multi-generational event that has stood the test of time for 4×4 enthusiasts. We are excited to join this crew in restoring the glory to the iconic Jamboree for the loyal fans that have always supported it.”
The “restoring the glory” statement is in reference to the Jamboree’s new owners and their mission to re-energize the event. The new owners, within Events Inc., are an all-star group who were involved in the Jamboree series for decades, during some of its largest, most venerable years. The new owners have only recently taken ownership of the series, but are on the gas, focused on their goals. In fact, the 37th Annual Steve Shannon tire 4-Wheel Jamboree Summer Nationals in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, was the first event held under new ownership. It was a rousing success, drawing 1,370 participant vehicles and 12,960 spectators.
Bloomsburg Was Great And Indy Is Coming Fast
As you can imagine, Events Inc. is excited about the new partnership with Tire Rack and Yokohama. Andy Knapp, Chief Revenue Officer of Events Inc., says, “It is truly an honor to welcome Yokohama and Tire Rack to the 43rd Annual Tire Rack 4 Wheel Jamboree Fall Nationals Driven By Yokohama. Their partnership is a blessing and signals a new era in the storied history of this iconic and beloved event. As the new owners of the Jamboree, Events Inc. is so excited to have both world-class brands on board for the next four years and into the future. Our loyal participants and fans – the Jamboree Nation – deserve it.” Mike Moore, President of Events Inc., noted, “Our crew knows that happy participants are everything. You must listen to them. When you do, the sponsors and vendors follow.”
Knapp also commented, “When we acquired the Jamborees, we knew we had work to do to return them to glory. But, when the word got out about the change, our fans and participants jumped on board to support us. Bloomsburg was great and Indy is coming around quicker than we thought. Mike (Moore) used the phrase ‘Under Old Management’ — this is one of the few times saying that phrase really works to an advantage.”
