Falken Tire supports King of the Hammers (KOH) Ultra4 Racing teams as a way to prove their tires in the real world. After all, if Falken tires can survive a brutal thrashing from the King of the Hammers desert race, they can survive just about anything you can throw at them.
As proof of this, Jon Schaefer and his RPM Extreme racing team were running Falken tires during one of last week’s most popular races–the Every Man Challenge (EMC). The RPM Extreme racing team began in 107th position off the start line, and despite some suspension issues, charged hard through the terrain on their Falken Wildpeak M/T tires, passing 105 of the total 134 entries to take second place in the hotly contested 4600 Ultra 4 Class.

As part of its 2021 King of the Hammers efforts, Falken also helped team member Justin Hall finish well in the 4500 Class of the EMC race. Wielding Falken Wildpeak M/T tires on his Rock Hard Racing modified-class car, Justin and his team suffered through mechanical problems, but were able to keep the race car going strong enough to score a 4th place class finish.

New for this year, the 2021 King of the Hammers event added classes for unlimited and limited desert-racing buggies, as well as Class 11 (near stock) VW Bug race cars. Falken tires helped one of the new Class 11 teams get to the finish line at the 2021 King of the Hammers. The Class 11 race was another extremely competitive event and drew 16 entries for its King of the Hammers debut. Falken Tire team member Josh Atteberry and his Kracker Fab crew ran their Class 11 Volkswagen Bug to a 5th place finish, putting yet another Falken Tires racing team into the record books.
