Labor Day weekend is upon us, and this last holiday weekend of Summer signifies BBQs and camping one last time before cooler weather is upon us. But for off-roaders, this is what could be called the most popular short-course race weekend.

Short-course racing heads to Crandon International Raceway for the 50th World Championship Off-Road Races August 29th to September 1st. This is a full weekend packed with events from the parade through Downtown Crandon to the Challenge Cup that pits Pro 2 drivers against Pro 4 drivers.

Crandon’s track nicknamed “The Big House” is wildly known in the off-road and short-course with its land rush start and high-speed Turn 1, this is going to be a weekend with the top short-course drivers in the world. More than 50,000 fans gather to cheer for their favorite drivers as they race on the longest and the fastest short-course track anywhere – with speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

Drivers like Kyle LeDuc, RJ Anderson, CJ and Johnny Greaves, Bryce Menzies, and Ryan beat are all going to be doing battle this weekend, in what is expected to be a weekend full of action. The races lead up to the famed Challenge Cup where Pro 2 and Pro 4 drivers battle for the top spot. Pro 2 trucks get a head start and have to work to keep the Pro 4s at bay and attempt to stay in the lead.
