In the off-road world, there are few things that get us as excited as what showed up for the week. The vehicle that pulled up has been one we have been itching to see and test since the first spy photos came out. The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor to some could be considered the holy grail of off-road vehicle and we have it for the next week.
What else is there to do with a new vehicle other than driving it to different locations.
When thinking of production off-road vehicles nothing fits the bill more than this truck. From its suspension, styling, and power it has everything off the shelf that any dirt fanatic would want. Over the next week, we will see just how capable this vehicle is from its on-road to off-road performance.
In addition to a traditional style review, this week also happens to be King of the Hammers, one of the toughest off-road races in the entire world. We will have the vehicle out at the event heading to the obstacles that the racers are taking on.
Touching the dirt for the time, we were nothing but smiles.
We look forward to seeing how the different terrain modes, upgrade Fox shocks, high-output 3.5-liter twin turbo EcoBoost, and 35-inch BF Goodrich KO2s handle the unforgiving landscape of Johnson Valley, California.
