COBB Tuning has officially brought its renowned Accessport ECU tuning platform to two of Ford’s most capable off-road machines: the Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor. Announced from COBB’s headquarters in Austin, Texas, this release marks a major milestone for Raptor owners who want more control, more power, and more flexibility from their factory turbocharged platforms without compromising the vehicles’ trail-ready nature.

Unlocking More From Ford’s Raptor Platforms

From the factory, both the Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor are engineered to dominate harsh terrain while remaining refined enough for daily driving. Turbocharged EcoBoost power, advanced drivetrains, and sophisticated electronics make them incredibly well-rounded vehicles. At the same time, that complexity also means there is untapped performance potential locked away in the factory ECU and TCU calibrations. This is where COBB’s experience shines.

During in-house development on COBB’s Dynojet chassis dyno, a Ford Ranger Raptor equipped with the new Accessport and running COBB’s 93-octane Off-The-Shelf calibration recorded gains of 45 horsepower and 62 lb-ft of torque. These numbers were achieved without custom tuning, proving that even a conservative, well-vetted OTS map can significantly wake up the truck. For enthusiasts planning additional modifications or custom ProTunes, this baseline performance increase is just the beginning.

Built For Daily Driving And Serious Off-Road Use

One of the defining strengths of the Accessport has always been its balance between power and drivability, and that philosophy carries over directly to the Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor. According to Kirstin Backes, Ford Product Owner at COBB Tuning, the goal was not just to chase peak numbers, but to refine how the vehicle delivers power in real-world conditions. Improved throttle response, smoother power delivery, and better overall drivability are just as important crawling over rocks or blasting down desert trails as they are commuting during the week.

Because the Accessport supports both engine and transmission calibrations, owners can fine-tune how the vehicle behaves across a wide range of scenarios. Whether the truck is loaded with gear, running larger tires, or being pushed hard in sand or mud, the tuning can be tailored to match the setup and the driver’s priorities.

A Tuning Ecosystem, Not Just A Flash Tool

The Accessport is more than a one-time flash device. It allows owners to install proven COBB Off-The-Shelf maps at home, switch between calibrations to match fuel quality or driving conditions, and monitor live vehicle data directly on the handheld screen. Up to six configurable gauges can be displayed at once, giving drivers real-time insight into how the engine is performing on the street or on the trail.

Data logging is equally important for enthusiasts who want to understand what their vehicle is doing under load. With the push of a button, detailed logs can be recorded and shared with professional tuners. Through COBB’s ProTuner network, Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor owners can work with experienced calibrators to create fully custom tunes designed around specific hardware, driving styles, and performance goals. The system also supports tire size adjustments, helping correct speedometer readings after moving to larger off-road tires.

Available Now For 2022+ Bronco Raptor And Ranger Raptor

COBB Accessport support is available immediately for 2022 and newer Ford Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor models. For off-road enthusiasts who want more power on demand, better control over how that power is delivered, and a tuning solution backed by decades of experience, this release represents a significant upgrade path for Ford’s latest Raptor platforms.
