BFGoodrich Racing has added one of off-road racing’s hottest young talents to its Trophy Truck roster, signing 2025 SCORE Baja 1000 overall winner Christopher Polvoorde ahead of next month’s Baja 500.

The 25-year-old racer will make his BFGoodrich debut at the 58th running of the Baja 500, June 3-7, piloting the No. 94 Optima Batteries/Red Bull AWD Ford Raptor built by Mason Motorsports on BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR3 tires.

A Major Addition To The BFGoodrich Team

“Joining the BFGoodrich family is a milestone moment for me,” Polvoorde said. “This brand has been part of off-road racing since long before I started, and to be partnered with them is something I won’t take lightly. I’m grateful to the team at BFGoodrich for backing my program, and I’m ready to put the work in to make this partnership count.”

Polvoorde enters the partnership with plenty of momentum. Fresh off his third consecutive King of the Hammers Desert Challenge victory, he finished fifth overall at the SCORE San Felipe 250 in March and now turns his focus to one of the biggest races on the desert calendar.

Eyes On Baja 500 Success

Polvoorde will head to Ensenada looking to make an immediate impact for BFGoodrich Racing while helping the tire manufacturer chase its 107th overall SCORE victory.

“We’re proud to welcome Christopher to the team, and we’re eager to see what the future holds for him and for BFGoodrich Racing,” said Raymond Cotton, North American Motorsports Director for BFGoodrich. “It’ll be great to see BFGoodrich Tires Baja T/A KR3 tires on the No. 94 Trophy Truck for the Baja 500 and have Christopher be an integral part of our winning tradition.”

A Fast Rise Through The Ranks

A native of Hemet, California, now based in Heber, Utah, Polvoorde has built an impressive résumé in both short-course and desert racing. His accomplishments include an undefeated Lucas Oil Midwest Short Course Pro Lite championship season in 2019, the 2021 American Short Course Pro Lite title, SCORE Trophy Truck Spec victories at the 2022 San Felipe 250 and Baja 400, the 2025 Baja 1000 overall win, and a third straight King of the Hammers Desert Challenge victory in 2026.

After climbing from short-course racing into desert competition in 2021, Polvoorde broke through at the highest level with his Baja 1000 overall victory alongside Bryce Menzies, cementing his status as one of the sport’s rising stars.

Joining A Stacked Trophy Truck Roster

Christopher Polvoorde joins an accomplished BFGoodrich Trophy Truck lineup that includes Rob MacCachren, Luke and Dan McMillin, Ryan Arciero, Adam Householder, Justin “Bean” Smith, Steve and Jack Olliges, and the Terrible Herbst team.

With the Baja 500 just around the corner, all eyes will be on the No. 94 Ford Raptor as Polvoorde begins the next chapter of his career with one of off-road racing’s most successful brands.
